ぬいぐるみやアメリカン・トイ、達磨や招き猫、熊手といったアイテムをコラージュして作られるシャンデリアを代表とする作品群は
「ジャンク・コラージュ」と評される。
彼女の作品は一見ごちゃごちゃな「ジャンク」であるようでいて、その世界は奇妙なバランスで均衡を保っている。

Born in Tokyo as a third-generation Zainichi Korean, Kim honed her craft at the Oda Fashion College. Famous for her "Junk Collage" style, her signature chandeliers are a mashup of everything from plushies and American toys to traditional Japanese lucky charms like Daruma, Maneki Neko and Kumade. While her work may at first glance appear to be a cluttered mess of "junk”, each piece exists in a state of strange perfect harmony.
